Birds of Pandæmonium are back to follow up their surprise summer indie anthem, "Days Go By", with a smoldering, taut psychedelic journey called "The Night." Sonically it's a little goth-punk and a little bit acid house. This is the first song on the playlist on your journey to a destination not yet known, just any-fucking-where but here. Paired with a remix from DFA stalwart, Juan MacLean whose shimmering synth lines cascade over a rough and hypnotic beat, conjuring memories of Maceo Plex hammering to a packed, smokey floor at Trade.
